Terms of service

These terms apply when you use the WASHIT app or book a wash with WASHIT. By creating an account or booking, you agree to them.
The service
WASHIT sends a trained washer to wash your car where it is parked, in the parts of Greater Mumbai we serve. The app shows which areas those are, what each service includes, and its price before you book.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over and use a mobile number that is yours.
- Keep your phone and the one-time codes we send you to yourself; you are responsible for bookings made from your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account.
Bookings and prices
- Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Some areas carry a travel charge, shown before you confirm.
- A booking is confirmed when the app says so. We then assign a washer, and the app shows who is coming and when they are on the way.
- Please make sure the car is accessible at the booked time and that washing it there is allowed (for example, by your building's society).
- The washer starts and finishes the job with codes the app shows you, so a job is only marked done when you say it is.
Paying
You can pay in cash when the job is finished, up to the limit the app shows. Where online payment is offered, it is processed by our payment provider and we never see your card details. You will receive an invoice for every completed wash.
Cancelling

If we have to cancel, you get a full refund and a credit towards your next wash. Refunds go back to the original payment method. If cash bookings are repeatedly not honoured, we may ask you to pay online in future.
Photos and quality
Your washer photographs the car before and after the job. If something is not right, tell us through the app or at dailycarwashcomp@gmail.com as soon as you can, ideally within 24 hours, and we will look into it using those photos.
Damage and liability
We take care with every car and are responsible for damage our washer causes. We are not responsible for existing damage or wear, for items left in the car, or for problems that come from information you gave us that was wrong. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, interfere with how it works, book on someone else's behalf without their permission, or treat washers with abuse or harassment. We may suspend accounts that do.
Changes, law and disputes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and the app will tell you if it matters to you. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai have jurisdiction. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
